Ibrahim Sarfo Ahmed is currently a Junior Assistant Registrar at the School of Nursing and Midwifery of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). He was the Institute Officer of the Institute of Traditional and Alternative Medicine (ITAM) UHAS. As an Officer of the Institute, he is responsible for the Institute’s administration, financial controls and liaison between the Institute and the outside world. He was the Secretary to the Institute’s Board and its principal committees.
Education
He holds an MBA (Strat. Mgt. & Consulting - Kumasi), He holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Consulting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Rural Development from the same University. Mr. Ahmed is currently a Licentiate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration & Management Consultants, Ghana. He has a Certificate in Leadership in Administration and Management.
Work Experience
Prior to joining University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), He worked as Principal Administrative Assistant and Principal Superintendent (Teaching) at KNUST and Osei Tutu SHS, respectively.
Science/Research output
Mr. Ahmed has a profound interest in Higher Education and Research, Institutional Branding and Strategic Planning, a Tertiary Education Administrative Practitioner with 10 years’ experience at Higher Education Administration and Management. He has been a member of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana and Chartered Institute of Administration & Management Consultants, Ghana till date. He is a Management Consultant and interested in promoting strategy in business process re-engineering. He has strong networks with the Centre for Rural Research and Poverty Reduction (CRRPR), Ghana and most Public Universities in Ghana and the West African Sub-region.
